In the belief of the importance of communication and interaction among civil society institutions interested in the Palestinian cause besides deepening the relationship amongst them and the formation of a suitable coordination ground for them, the Global Campaign for the Return to Palestine held the First International Forum of Solidarity with the Palestinian People over the period of 27-28-29 November, 2013, in the Lebanese capital Beirut, in the presence of 80 activists from 23 countries from around the world.
The participants agreed to establish the “Global Campaign to Return to Palestine” and to launch it as an international open-membership league of the civil society organizations that put Palestine at the top of their priorities.
The conference was concluded with an intellectual symposium that brought together the most prominent intellectual and political figures in the Arab and Lebanese arenas with the title of “The Palestinian Cause in a Changing World Reality”.
